"Alledged" AWA Tourney for July

Bartlett Lake, outside Scottsdale, AZ

After the "Fist Puppets of the Mullet Haired fishermen" shut down our tourney at Lake Pleasant those hardcore riders moved north east to Bartlett and made the best out of it. Bryan Ruddy and Joe Boyle brought the motorhome and the X-Star, I brought enough liquor and jungle juice to choke a small army, CeCe and Candace brought some tasty Brauts that decided to throw a whooping on us Saturday afternoon. Tom and Chrissy brought the AWA setter and baby Bugg who entertained us all with his antics and investigative nature. Neck, he brought some buddies, beer and his board... that was about it.

Russ Olson and his family showed up Saturday morning and pulled a few sets behind the AWA Setter and I'm fairly sure everyone who was there got a pull in some form or another with three boats and plenty of water time. We even got to see Owen Zorge (OZ) in his new Type R Tige while we were launching. There were plenty of wakeboarding boats on the water and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Even though the event was cancelled we all had a great time and enjoyed the weekend away from the city and all our "other stuff"!!
