2001 Pro Tour Champion

Emily is by far my favorite female rider. Watching her ride at the Pro Tour stop in Greenville last year I developed a new respect for female riders on the tour. Up until that point I had read the articles, interviews and glanced across the pictures, but seeing them up close and throwing Petes, KGBs, 3s and 5s it became clear to me that these were serious riders.

I was lucky enough to see her ride in the Malibu Just Ride event in Lake Havasu July 14th and 15th. She's fluid, technical and fun to watch, she's also great to talk to and was nice enough to help the AWA out by signing the T-shirt we planned to raffle in an effort to raise money for amatuer wakeboarding.
