Steve and I hooked up on the Wakeworld discussion board and when we finally rode together I found out his entire family is stoked on wakeboarding, including his son Gage, who is a little ripper. The water conditions were great that afternoon we hunted down a great cove and Chrissy Bugg, Gage, Steve and I went to work. Chrissy came super close to landing her backroll and Steve was what proved to be one weekend away from landing the raley!!

Well after Steve and his buddy Chris participated in the Cobe and Bisch clinic they picked up Jared Vesely, CK Rogers, myself, and the "Mountain Hippie" and all headed to the secret spot for some great butter riding. I managed to kill it, landing way in the flats and just an all around great day of riding. Thanks for all the advice guys I really appreciate it and have advanced more this summer than I ever expected! Jared started to develop a little more consistency on his HS W2W jumps and Chris stomped the backroll that had been elluding him for quite some time. Last but not least Steve killed several raley attempts and proved the trick to death!! Nice Job man! I think we each got three or four sets. CK jumped back on a board after 2 months or so off and threw an awesome run. Floaty Crow, Hoochie, Krypt, R2R and just mad style on a board. I'll have to post some pictures once I get them developed. We were all gassed after that afternoon of riding, but I was riding the next day with Mike Balzer and Sunday evening with Chaun Keating... the madness had begun!!!
